Plus a lot of the information probably is not available in a consistent format -- not every city reports bike theft data in the same way (or even at all). It's not scientific, but it's what we have.Fritzhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04808661100114872654noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38894705.post-68636319890648685012007-06-15T16:59:00.000-04:002007-06-15T16:59:00.000-04:00bikerider - awareness is what we are aiming for he...bikerider - awareness is what we are aiming for here.

Have a great weekend filled with fabulous riding!Donna T.http://www.blogger.com/profile/18438255125920496361noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38894705.post-2814273648103749572007-06-15T16:42:00.000-04:002007-06-15T16:42:00.000-04:00Sooo.... is the list based on raw numbers, or per ...Sooo.... is the list based on raw numbers, or per capita? You can fide it at:
http://www.fbi.gov/research.htm
They actually break out bike theft in their crime stats. And, the long version of their stats lists numbers by state and, in the past, they used to do per capita, too. I'm not sure if that is still available or not. Check it out.Donna T.http://www.blogger.com/profile/18438255125920496361noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38894705.post-56311943856471854682007-06-15T13:33:00.000-04:002007-06-15T13:33:00.000-04:00I have heard in the past the Philly was #1 per cap...I have heard in the past the Philly was #1 per capita or per bike.
